Talking in a safe, quiet and non- judgemental space can help to make effective changes in our lives and enhance our well- being so that life feels less difficult and better understood. Exploring unresolved issues and conflicts can reduce fears and anxieties leading to the experience of a more fulfilled life. I work primarily in a psychodynamic way, letting you take the lead whilst creating an environment of warmth, empathy and understanding.
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step and can feel frightening as well as hopeful.
I can help you to understand things with more clarity, using this understanding to develop a different image of yourself and to help develop stronger relationships.
My professional background before training as a Counsellor was in Education. As such I have a particular interest in working with children and young people.

Our first session will be 50 minutes long and is available face-to-face, over Zoom or the telephone, depending on what feels most comfortable and suitable for you. This session consultation is an opportunity for us to talk through your reasons for seeking therapy, for me to gather a brief background.
Ongoing sessions would then be weekly and last 50 minutes.
